Empowered Life Church (EMP) exists to Evangelize the world, Exalt the Lord in worship, Encourage the believers in faith and fellowship, Edify the church through discipleship and to Empower people to fulfill purpose.


The fivefold purpose of EMP (Acts 2:42-47)

  1. Evangelize the world - outreach (verse 47)
  2. Exalt the Lord in worship - worship (verse 46)
  3. Encourage the believers in fellowship - fellowship (verse 42)
  4. Edify the church through discipleship - discipleship (verse 42)
  5. Empower people to fulfill purpose - training (verse 44-45)

Our Beliefs

We believe - The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)


We believe - There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19)


We believe - In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His

bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years (John 1:1)


We believe - In the blessed hope, the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming (Titus 2:13)


We believe - The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ (John 14:6)


We believe - Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (Titus 3:5)


We believe - The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer (1 Peter 2:24)


We believe - The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:14, is given to believers who ask for it.


We believe - In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Holy life (Galatians 5:16-25)


We believe - In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (Rev. 20:11-15)

We are God Focused

In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get distracted.  Many are focused on material possessions & temporary pleasure, while others cannot see beyond current problems and circumstances. Grounded in God’s Word, at EMP we have a passion to pursue His presence.  We are a family of multiethnic, loving and supportive God focused individuals. EMP is a great place to meet new friends, experience contemporary worship and receive spiritual guidance through dynamic and practical messages.  We believe that a God focused life will experience His blessings and bring change to others.   

We are Purpose Focused

Every person has been uniquely gifted.  At EMP we seek to provide opportunities to develop and utilize these gifts and talents.  Whether through creative arts (music, dance, drama), teaching, hospitality, digital media or other means, our purpose is to encourage the fulfillment of God's purpose in your life.  We succeed when you succeed!

We are Family Focused

God designed the family as the foundation of society but since the beginning, the family unit has been under attack.  We seek to build and foster strong relationships through life group meetings, bible based teachings for all ages, counseling services and through special event seminars.  Our Welcome Centre and dinner receptions provide opportunities for new families to connect with the EMP leadership and family.   

We are Community Focused

Members are encouraged to become actively involved within the church and in the broader community.  We undertake several outreach initiatives including hospital and nursing home visits as well as meal programs.  Our Care 'N' Share ministry provides food, clothing and other assistance to those in need.  Together, we believe that we can touch and transform lives - one person at a time - for God's glory.
